A 96% nylon, 4% elastane shell woven from finer yarns carries a UPF 50 rating that blocks 98% of UVA and UVB rays, giving four-plus hours of real sun cover in the open. BÆR-Tex DWR beads light rain straight off the shell, while a full-length storm flap and adjustable hem and hood toggles seal out wind so a passing shower doesn't cut the round short. An adjustable hood packs away clean with a magnetic closure, then pulls up the moment the weather turns, and elasticated cuffs keep sleeves in place through every swing.
